Graduate Academic Assistant (GAA) Position
Capacity is hiring a GAA for a one-year SSHRC-funded study titled “Do current instruments to assess housing security consider gender-based violence? A scoping review through a structural lens of housing justice.”
The position is from September 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and will be under the supervision of Dr. Vicky Bungay. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at the University of British Columbia, and must have completed a research methods course at the graduate level. The position is paid hourly and will average 10-12 hours per week. Pay will be $34/hour plus 4% vacation pay. Specific hours of work will be negotiated. The work will be based at Capacity: The Centre for Research in Community Engagement & Gender Equity at the UBC School of Nursing on the Vancouver campus.
