Project Description
Equip Emergency Care is a CIHR funded research project co-led by Indigenous leaders, ED staff and leaders, and researchers. Embedded in EQUIP Health Care, the purpose of this study was to examine the feasibility, process and impact of implementing an evidence-informed framework to improve the capacity of Emergency Departments to provide high-quality care to people at greatest risk of experiencing health and health care inequities.
Capacity is privileged to be a partnering research centre on this project. Dr. Vicky Bungay is one of the project research co-leads, providing support for trainees and working collaboratively with the respective emergency departments partnering in this work.
